As it was not possible to hold the World Congress in 2020 in Copenhagen, the ESPGHAN and FISPGHAN Councils agreed to hold the 6th World Congress of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in Vienna, Austria from 02 – 05 June 2021. On behalf of ESPGHAN and FISPGHAN we cordially invite you to participate in this truly international congress that brings together experts from around the globe. It will promote and strengthen worldwide cooperation in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Following the previous successes in Boston (2000), Paris (2004), Iguazu Falls (2008), Taipei (2012) and Montréal (2016), we are happy to bring the World Congress to Europe again!
The scientific programme will include a diverse set of fascinating speakers presenting cutting-edge lectures and educational sessions, to make the 6th World Congress a must attend event for colleagues working in our field.
A wide range of sessions, symposia, clinical tracks, post-graduate courses and the hands-on endoscopy learning zone will be on offer. Latest developments on clinical guidelines will be shared, and state-of-the-art lectures in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition will be presented. There will also be opportunities to present original work, network, see old friends and meet new colleagues.
Located in the eastern part of Austria, Vienna is a cultural, economic, and political centre and the 6th largest city by population within the European Union. Vienna is known as the "City of Music" due to its musical legacy founded by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Schoenberg and many others. It is also called the "City of Dreams" where Sigmund Freud developed psychoanalysis. The city is ranked as one of the world's top destinations for international congresses and conventions.
We look forward to seeing you in Vienna and trust you will find your participation enjoyable and rewarding!
