Group Registration Conditions

Registration

The congress registration is only possible online. Every Group Coordinator is responsible for the correctness of the given data. The payment of the registration fee has to be made via bank transfer after receiving the invoice. A submitted and approved request is binding.

 

Registration for the ONSITE congress includes

  • a name badge
  • access to all scientific sessions and e-poster area
  • access to the industry exhibition
  • access to industry symposia
  • Free access to the Congress Talks & Speaker Site on-demand until end of September 2021
  • All personal congress documents
  • Coffee breaks and lunches
  • Invitation to the Welcome Reception (subject of availability)
  • Certificate of attendance & CME certificate (only for participation in scientific sessions during official congress days)

Registration for the ONLINE congress includes

  • Access to all scientific sessions and e-poster exhibition
  • Access to industry exhibition
  • Access to industry symposia if a recording and/or live transmission is available
  • Virtual interaction and networking
  • Free access to the Congress Talks & Speaker Site on-demand until end of September 2021
  • Virtual congress materials
  • Certificate of attendance & CME certificate (only for participation in scientific sessions during official congress days)

Payment

A respective invoice will be issued by the organizer. The invoices are due upon receipt of the invoice. Any additional registration will be invoiced after receipt and has to be paid immediately.

The payment covers registration including the respective taxes only.

No bookings will be fully confirmed until payment is received in full. Obligation to pay always remains. In case the open balance is not settled according to the registration conditions, EUROKONGRESS GmbH has the right to withdraw from the approved ticket request.

 

Method of payment

EUROKONGRESS GmbH accepts bank transfers, as well as credit card payments.

 

Credit Card Payment

EUROKONGRESS GmbH accepts credit card payments up to the amount of 2.500,00 €.

Due to security reasons, a credit card payment has to be done via a secure internet link, which will be sent to your e-mail address by EUROKONGRESS GmbH.

 

Bank Transfer Payment

  • Please ensure that the name of the group/paying company are stated on the bank  transfer.
  • Bank charges are the responsibility of the payer and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees.
  • Please make drafts payable in EUR only.

 

Change of registration

The Group Coordinator must inform the congress organiser immediately about any change of registration. All changes must be submitted in writing to:

A change of an onsite to an online registration is possible at any time. For registration changes received up until Sunday, 28 March 2021, the difference between the onsite and online registration fee will be reimbursed less a service fee of 30,00 €.
From 29 March 2021 on, no reimbursement of the price difference will be made. The online registration fee valid at the time of the change will be due.

A change of an online to an onsite registration is possible up until the onsite registration deadline on Sunday, 16 May 2021. Onsite tickets are subject to availability.
The price difference has to be settled immediately upon receipt of the respective invoice using the payment methods provided. The onsite registration fee valid at the time of the change will be due.

 

Cancellation

Cancellations have to be submitted in writing to: .

Cancellations received up until Sunday, 28 March 2021 incur a cancellation fee of 50,00 € for the congress (onsite and online) and of 25,00 € for the courses. From this date onwards or in case of a no-show, registration fee reimbursements are no longer possible unless the organisers are provided with a named replacement who will take on the registration.

The registration fees for the ESPGHAN Members Evening and for the Endoscopy Learning Zone are non-refundable.

Please note that no refunds will be made if you are unable to view the live sessions due to the speed of your internet connection or a technical problem with your IT equipment. The presentations will still be available on demand on the Congress Talks & Speaker Site.

 

Namelist

The final name list has to be provided until 07 May 2021 by using the official Group Registration – Managing Tool.

 

Administration fee

Should the administration of the group be of excessive complexity for the agency, an additional service fee will be charged at an hourly net rate of 75,00 € including the rate of tax at the time of invoice. In this case the fee will be added to the outstanding invoice.

 

Name badge onsite

Upon arrival at the congress venue, all participants will receive a name badge, which must be worn visibly for the entire duration of the congress. The name badge acts as a personal entrance ticket for the congress and is non-transferable to other persons.

For the reprint of lost badges, a fee of 25% of the original registration fee applies.

 

Online access

Every registration is per person and every online participant receives a personal login.
Therefore, group coordinators are obliged to indicate to every registration the respective e-mail address. It is not possible to send the personal login details to the group coordinators in advance. It is not allowed to share the link and login to the virtual conference with other persons.

 

Access to the congress / industry exhibition onsite and online

All attendees must be over the age of 18.

Any onsite participant with signs of illness indicating an infection with COVID-19 (fever, cold, cough or similar) or participants that have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days are not allowed enter the congress venue.
This rule also applies to participants that have been in contact with a person, who is infected with COVID-19 (documented or assumed). This exclusion does not apply to health care professionals who have professional contact with COVID-19 patients as long as all relevant safety measures were respected.

Registration is only allowed for health care professionals, students, associated press, industry representatives and other stakeholders in the field of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
Attendees might be asked to provide a proof of status (e.g. ID card, student ID, confirming letter of workplace) when requested.

There might be restrictions to access certain areas of the industry exhibition onsite and online due to regulations for advertising of pharmaceutical products to non-healthcare-providers or non-prescribers.

Due to compliance regulations all non-registered persons (family members, accompanying persons) are not allowed to access the congress and the industry exhibition.

Every participant registering for the congress confirms that the above mentioned conditions are fulfilled.

 

FISPGHAN Members

To be entitled to register at the reduced FISPGHAN member rate, the attendee has to have a paid active membership in one of the FISPGHAN Member Societies (ESPGHAN, NASPGHAN, LASPGHAN, PASPGHAN, AAPSPGHAN) before starting the registration process. Membership must be valid at the time of the 6th World Congress.

 

Photography and recording

All presentations and lectures are intellectual property of the authors and thus no audio or video shall be recorded or broadcasted at any time by the participants.
In accordance with the authors the scientific programme will be recorded by the organizers to be provided on the online platform and the Congress Talks & Speaker Site of the congress.
Please note that any speaker or delegate asking a question might be recorded together with the running session which will be available on the online platform and the Congress Talks & Speaker Site.

 

Cancellation of the onsite congress

In the event that the onsite congress cannot be held due to a situation of force majeure or cannot take place to the planned extent, such as pandemic contact restrictions, the organisers reserve the right to change the congress format into a fully virtually congress. Every onsite registration is automatically changed into an online registration taking into account the date of registration (early or standard fee).
All participants will be provided with the login details for the online congress in due time.


Programme Changes

Any last minute changes due to functional, private or organisational will be announced on the congress website and the Congress App. The event organiser accepts no liability for any additional costs caused by a change of programme.

 

Disclaimer

Neither ESPGHAN nor EUROKONGRESS GmbH shall be liable for accidents, bodily injury, and theft as well as for additional costs due to the change of the event date, location, and programme or similar.

Liability for additional costs due to delays, changes or cancellations of flights, trains or other means of transport as well as due to strike action, illness, weather or environmental disasters is also excluded.

It is the responsibility of each participant to arrange appropriate theft-, accident-, health- as well as travel-cancellation insurance. Participants take part at their own responsibility and risk.

It is the responsibility of every online participant to meet the technical requirements needed for joining the virtual congress.

 

Other provisions

German law shall apply to the entire contractual relationship, excluding international private law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Munich is agreed as the exclusive place of jurisdiction.
